The hands free leashes are made from certified type IV paracord which is used for rock climbing therefore making the material incredibly strong.  The cord is 5/16” in diameter with a nylon outer sheath creating the perfect heft and smooth feel. These leases are chew resistant and waterproof.  The cord loop for hands free around your waste or over the shoulder is adjustable with a custom made figure 8 loop and carabiner locking mechanism.  Each leash comes with a swivel clip hook which ensures your dog won’t get twisted and choked up.  They also come standard with a metal ring that can be used to clip the leash to itself for easy carrying when not in use and/or to clip a waste bag dispenser, collapsible bowl and/or safety whistle.  

Leash length options are based on a 40 inch loop (does not include the 3 inch carabiner) for your waist so the length offered below would be the number of feet from your waist to the where the clip attaches to the dog.  Please keep in mind if you desire a smaller waiste loop, based on the design of these leashes, it can be adjusted but will cause the length from your waist to the dog to be longer longer.  Reversely, a larger waiste loop will cause the length from your waist to the dog to be shorter.  An over the shoulder loop will typically be greater than 40 inches so be sure to calculate that into the length of leash desired.  Please email me at erin@timberhound.com if you need assistance choosing a length.
